Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

1. What this covers

This policy explains what Runic collects, how it's stored, and what rights you have over it. Runic is built and operated by Ogbonnah William Ikechukwu.

2. What we collect

An account (email, authentication data), and whatever you choose to log: entries across up to eight life domains (Discipline, Physique, Health, Spiritual, Money, Academic & Career, Social, Focus), including things like workouts, sleep, medications, financial transactions, personal reflections, and study material. You control what you log. Nothing is collected passively without you entering it.

3. How it's stored

All data lives in a hosted Postgres database (Supabase), encrypted in transit and at rest. Row Level Security is enforced on every table, meaning the database itself blocks any account from ever reading another account's data, not just the app's interface.

4. How it's used

Solely to run the product: to display your data back to you, and to power Rune, the natural-language parsing and suggestion layer, which processes what you log to categorize it and generate plans. Your data is never sold, and never used to train models outside serving your own account.

5. Third parties

Two, and only two: Supabase (database hosting) and Dodo Payments (billing, acting as Merchant of Record). Card details never reach Runic's own servers. We use Vercel Analytics for basic, non-invasive usage analytics on this website.

6. Your rights

Export everything, every table, every uploaded file and photo, anytime from Settings. Delete your account and all associated data anytime from Settings.

7. Data on cancellation

If you cancel or your subscription lapses, your account is locked, not deleted. Your data stays intact and private, exactly as you left it, until you either resubscribe or explicitly delete your account and data yourself from Settings.

8. Regional rights

If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR (access, correction, deletion, portability, objection), all already satisfied by the export/delete tools in Settings. If you're a California resident, the same applies under the CCPA.

9. Children

Runic is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, you'll be notified before it takes effect.
